Hi, I also faced same issue but I managed the sorting from crosstab query. I was checked with option order by expression and comparator expression but it not works as i wanted. Hi, Filter does not work means you not able to see filter/inputcontrol at report level or you provide some value to filter but it shows full data. If not able to show input control on report then refer above post as ankur said. Otherwise you need to check query at iReport level. Thanks, Ajinkya

Hi, I set default date in reports which I used in dashboard, I set date in such a way so that it gives me last 30 day data on my report. same report when I used in dashboard it works fine on day one, I got dashboard with last 30 days data becouse in all report i set same default condition for last 30 days. Next day when I run same dashboard it give me data for last 30 days but not from today it is from yesterday, these date stick with input control. Same issue as you said. So for that i removed date input controls from reports as well as dashboard and replace it with LAST_N_DAYS input control so that user can able to run it for last perticular days and by default run for 30 days. But I lost the functionality of dashboard to run it for perticular any dates, like startdate and Enddate. So If you found any solution on that then please revert. Thanks, Ajinkya

Hi, You can create style in iReport and then create conditional style inside the style by specifing condition. Then apply the style to each text box by its properties. You have to create style and conditional style at report level through report properties and apply it to each field manually at field level through field properties. Thanks, Ajinkya

Hi, You can do this at query level, like using rank function in query to assign rank to highest to lowest and display top 10 rank in the report. Hi, Write your sql query in such way so that if user provides value to input control then it will be use in report query filter, if you not provide any value then filter part removed from query. This requirement you can achieve using dynamic where condition in $P!{ } parameter place your where condition in parameter with if else condition based on parameter null or not null. Hi, New pages and blank spaces you can avoid by print when expression if the table or query generates data then only the space consume by data or any object . Make page height, band height and width appropriate so that no blank space generated. Set the Detail band height as minimum as possible if using in report, otherwise make it zero. You can add more no. of table with separate or same datasource and manage to view on report by using print when expression. Hope this helps. Thanks, Ajinkya

Hi, May your db server machin and jasperserver machine not in network. Try to connect to db from jasperserver m/c manually. Also check, your sid in connection config.( ORA-12505, TNS:listener does not currently know of SID given in connect descriptor) Thanks Ajinkya
