Hi I have a report thats created in iReport designer, I have added a filter in the following way. Right click parameters -> Add parameter In the report query added a filter expression that points to the column that needs to be filtered. On the jasper server I uploaded the .jrxml file and added a datasource. Also added an input control that has the same name as the parameter name in my ireport. But the filter does not work. Are these the correct steps to follow?

Hi teodord, I am not able to access the url link above. What was the proposed solution to many columns in the report problem?

I have a requirement where I have 20 columns in a report and would like to design one in ireport designer. It is not possible to stretch the width of the column header band in the ireport designer. Is there any other way to achieve this? I am trying to achieve horizontal scrolling in my report. Or any other way that accomodates a large number of columns in a report.

Hi I am using the jasperserver community edition 5.2 for creating reports, I am ussing the iFrames to embed these reports into my web applications. I am able to remove the menus and the jasper server logo by passing the "decorate=no" parameter to the url in the iFRame. However that leaves an empty border around the report and also the scroll buttons and the download buttons. I want to be able to get rid of everything but the report and have my own custom buttons to download and scroll over the report. I know in the commercial edition this is possible by passing the "ViewasDashboard=true" to the url but how can this be achieved in the community edition?

Hi, I am trying to install the jasperserverdatabse on an existing postgres database and am unable to create any tables inside the database, any ide why? the logs dont say much

Where are these tables? Do they get created after successful deployment?
