Strange, i've just tried on a configuration really similar to yours (the only difference is that i'm using java 7) and all works correctly. You can check in your installation details if you have the data plugin installed, like in the attached image. Also could you check if in the error log if there are errors about JSS? Another test could be install JSS plugin into a clean eclipse, because maybe in your eclipse you have some other plugin that conflict with jss. UPDATE: i've tested with a configuration exactly like your and i was not able to reporduce the bug. Maybe it's your eclipse configuration or something gone wrong during the installation.

Changed Resolution from Open to Fixed Changed Status from New to Resolved Hi, in the next version you will able to select the properties form the dialog and paste them on more elements. The dialog support the multiseelection of the properties and with the right click you will open the contextual menu with the copy option. Lets say that it is the standard copy system, but for now the hotkey still are not implemented, you must right click to copy the selected properties.I've done another fix about a bug you opened some time ago that was about the expression and value properties of an element, now when you edit a properties is show the correct dialog if it was a value or an expression property -

Changed Resolution from Open to Fixed Changed Status from New to Resolved Changed Assigned User from - to @morlandin The option in the preferences it's not compatible with JSS, since it uses a different mechanism to select the workspace not compatible with the eclipse one and there are also technical issues to select a new workspace before the application is fully started.So the true bug is show the preference page that allow to check an unsupported option, infact the page dosen't came from the JSS project but directly from the eclipse platform. Now i have removed the workspaces page from the preferences.If you want to change the workspace please use the action File->Switch workspace.

Changed Assigned User from - to @morlandin Are you refering to a property or something like that? By default there is no version written inside the jrxml, the only version you can change is the one of the JR library and you can select it only from the preferences

The directory is in your workspace, but still is not a bug. At the start we check if the project MyReports is present and if not then it is created. We can discuss this in the future but for now all it is working as designed.

Strange, can you send me the contents of your_workspace\.metadata\.plugins?Please note that inside this folder there is the configurations of JSS, so every data adapter and server configuration, with also the password in clear if you are not using the secure storage. You can consider to send them to my email morlandi@tibco.com . -

I've resolved the FileNotFountException and Massimo (mrabbi) resolved the other one (post #20), for this reason it was marked as resolved

I was talking about the FileNotFountException that was raised in the second half of post #12. For the null pointer exception on the Test we still working on it and when there will be news we will post them here.

From JSS 5.6 the storage of the configurations has changed and the new process need this path resolution. This was done to improve the performances when using many adapters\server configurations. For this reason in the old version you don't have this space problem. But it's not in the update process, simply we need to include some classes to do this, and one of them has this bug.
