In addition to the installer binaries, you can install the JasperReports Server application using the stand-alone WAR file distribution. For production environments, use the WAR file distribution. Download the WAR file distribution from http://community.jaspersoft.com. The WAR file distribution comes in a file named jasperreports-server-cp-6.0-bin.zip in compressed ZIP format.
