  7. Changed Assigned User from - to @teodord Peter,If you have compiled your reports with Jaspersoft Studio, you don't need to compile them at runtime in your own application.Just like in your Java application you deploy compiled .class files and .jar files, not source *.java file, similarly, you ca deploy compiled report templates in the form of *.jasper files and not source *.jrxml files. In any case, if you plan to use the Barcode4J barcodes, you need the Barcode4J library and its dependencies added to your application classpath. The error clearly indicates you don't have Barbecue4J in your application classpath.I hope this helps.TeodorP.S. Just for the record, we were able to reproduce the initial Barbecue serialization problem in our /demo/sample/virtualizer sample, but as already explained, there is nothing we can fix about it.
  8. Changed Assigned User from - to @teodord Hi,If this is confirmed as a problem with some Barbecue class not being serializable, then it is highly unlikely we are going to fix it and thus fork the Barbecue project, considering it is dead since 2007.Can you replace this barcode with an equivalent one rendered with Barcode4J, also part of our product distributions?Thank you,Teodor
  9. Hi, It is more useful to see the JRXML and the resulting PDF in this case. Maybe you can attach them here. Thank you, Teodor
  10. Hi, The use of fieldDescription for field mapping is somewhat deprecated. There are now special custom properties at field level for that. You might want to use this one: http://jasperreports.sourceforge.net/config.reference.html#net.sf.jasperreports.json.field.expression I hope this helps. Teodor
  11. Hi, You need to set this property either globally or inside the report: http://jasperreports.sourceforge.net/config.reference.html#net.sf.jasperreports.export.pdfa.conformance I hope this helps. Teodor
  12. Hi, You cannot collapse the reserved space of the page and column footers. To work around this, maybe you could use the group footer for a group that has footerPosition="CollateAtBottom". I hope this helps. Teodor
  13. Hi, No, this is not possible and we don't plan to support it. The fact that styles can be isolated into external style templates offers enough flexibility to change them at runtime. It would be too much trouble to support such expressions in style properties. Also, note that the style properties at element level can have dynamic values using these custom properties: http://jasperreports.sourceforge.net/config.reference.html#net.sf.jasperreports.style.fontSize I hope this helps. Teodor
