Changed Resolution from Open to Fixed Changed Status from New to Resolved Changed Assigned User from - to @teodord Hi,Luckily, you are using JR 6.0.0 and could benefit from some new page numbering variables introduced with the occasion of supporting book reports, which are made of parts, not bands.Please use the MASTER_CURRENT_PAGE built-in variable for the current page number and PAGE_NUMBER built-in variable for the total number of pages, while setting evaluationTime="Master" for your text field element.You'll no longer need to declare your own CURRENT_PAGE_NUMBER variable.I hope this helps.Teodor

Basically, all file based data adapters such as CSV, Excel, JSON, XML, etc, have the possibility to get their source data from custom remote location, including Web Services. Some built-in default implementation for such report locations exist in the core library.Thanks,Teodor

Hi, Forgot to mention that in order to achieve the above workaround, a scriptlet would probably need to be involved, so that each key/value pair is added to the map on the afterDetail() scriptlet event. I hope this helps. Teodor

Changed Resolution from Open to Won't Fix Changed Status from New to Resolved Changed Assigned User from @lucianc to @teodord Hi,Indeed, the incrementation of the chart dataset is performed when the band is evaluated, which is before the value is returned from the subreport.Because this is a special case in which the chart dataset is filled with values returned from subreport, a special solution needs to be adopted.Both the key and the value for the pie chart dataset need to be stored in a map that would eventually be passed to the pie chart as a data source. Each key/value pair would have to be returned by the subreport into a map variable of the master, where they would be store until the end of the master is reached.I did not try to modify your report to show you this, but I think the idea is clear. Unfortunately, this is the easiest workaround that I can see.Since we do not plan to make any fix about this in the library, I am closing it now.Thanks,Teodor
