Could you open an issue in the issue tracker, add details, log. I verified JSS with Jaspersoft server 7.1 and it works for me, I don't any problems.

But it's not always possible (in iReport too) for example in case of groovy language. -

id collisions are considered inconsistent state on the server. You'll get exceptions on the server side. The only way is to cleanup input controls on the server, resolve this collisions.

I verified it on the last JSS version, it is working. However it is not always possible to find the right object from compilation results. You should add more information so we can test the case and improve it.

Changed Resolution from Reopened to Works as Designed Changed Status from Feedback Requested to Closed Actually, all .jasper files are copied into bin/ folder you configure in eclipse, exactly like java .class files, if you don't like defaults, you can configure output folders in the build path preferences pages. If you don't want them in the jar file you creating and deploying to the server, you can filter .jrxml files, it's not so difficult to do when you build your jars, especially if you care about security. Create your reports inside source folders.Keeping .jasper files in the same place with .jrxml file it's because if you have a subfolder structure, you can't do otherwise, your paths will not work -
