  1. Thanks Massimo. I did not see a JSS on AWS Marketplace. Is there some way to access from the hourly EC2 instance (when it is running)? Or do I simply instal locally?
  2. I have an instance of Jasper server (hourly on AWS) (v.7.1). Studio Community (v.6.6) connects fine, but I cannot edit any existing reports on Server from Studio. The reports are visible, but I get error messages when trying to access. Can you edit existing charts (in server) from Studio?
  3. I am running the AWS hourly, and have installed the Jasper Community Edition of Studio...but I receive error messages when attempting to view the various reports on server through Studio. I am connected to the server and can see all the reports, etc. in the Repository Explorer, but error message appears when attempting to open. Is there another version of Studio that I must use? (does Community Studio work with v7.1 server?)
  4. I want to run some simple calculations on data...and derive percentile (or quartile) in dashlet creation. Using Jaspersoft as deployed on the hourly/AWS EC2 instance
  5. Is there a good source of sample dashboards that have been created and deployed with the free community edition of jaspersoft server?
  6. Follow-up question with WAR, I noticed that instructions discuss a license file. This is referencing a shared license that is not fee-based, correct? (BTW, I had a browser issue and hope I did not mess up any points for the responses, sorry about that)
  7. Thank you for these suggestions! I will document the process for the community, once I unpack necessary steps.
  8. I am new to Jaspersoft and would like to install Jaspersoft community edition components on AWS EC2 instance. All of the tutorials I have found involve AMIs or Stack installations of the Commercial editions (hourly, BYOL, etc.). [i recently went through both the AMI and the Stack installations of BYOL versions on AWS and then realized it was license/fee-based] Does anyone know of a good 'how to video' reference for installing the Community Edition (server, studio, library) on AWS?
