Hii Always use Frames for this type of problem.bcz the will adjust according to the the size of address ie city here in our case.

Hi you place all data in detail band.but in detail you have to put only fields for which you need detail.and place the rest whole static text in group footer or summary band.I think this might be the reason for not getting the whole report data.

HI Sir there is no record in your Report .first of all insert some data,I found no data is there.and the size of your report page is also 0.change it to your requirement.then your whole report is displayed.

U have to create parameters in compiere ,then it will automatically pass to your ireport.which you attached with that report and process.

Hii place this variable in frame ,after that apply [strech with overflow ] property. Or otherwise After placing the string varible in frame,go tto properties of variable,>Common>Stretch type<Relative to tallest Object hope it will work for you . -
Hi U Can create a new report group.Its also performing the task of a band.Might this will solve urs problem.

Hi for solving your problem go to Properties of textfield>Common>set The Position type to float.if it will not work set stretch type to <relative to tallest object>. Hope this will solve your problem. -
U need to create a Report group and group footer u place this Paragraph.then it willl only appears once. Hope it will work for u.

Go to SubReport Properties>Subreport Properties(others)>then in subreport parameter just click "Copy from master" Button to pass parameter from one Master report to other.Hope it will work for you. Regards Harinder Singh

Library functions missing in Linux ????

So Sir,what I have to do?? Should I go for Window machine ,because there are number of other problems also I am facing with Linux fedora 10 . Like 1>Report styles are also missing, 2>Every time i have to end the thread whenever I pass parameter to my reports. -
For counting number of records and for getting sum of order amount for a given range of orders you can simply use variables with calculation type Count and sum respectively.

Hi I am asking about following functions: 1>Page No 2>Total Pages 3>Page X of Y 4>Total 5>Current Date 6>Percentage In window System these function are come by default ,but in linux thse function are missing.and there are number of other problems with linux also. Regards, Harinder Singh -
hi i am using ireports 3.0.0 on linux fedora 10 machine . when i am selecting Library " from dockPane view , it is showing library pane but not displaying any of six functions . i want to confirm is this linux problem or with installed ireport. regards Harinder Singh
