  1. Dear Forum members, It is really funny, but I get kind of different results using iReport (3.51 which includes JasperReports 3.5.1) and JasperResports (3.5.1). If I compile my report within iReport and save it to a pdf it is shown correctly: - the 3 lines of the detail filed is shown - the oracel clob content a the end of the report is shown completely If I open the SAME compiled report with apache 5.5.20 and a servlet which no special code - just opening the report and give it back as a pdf file - it is shown WRONG: - only 2 of 3 lines in the detail filed - some of the reports don't show all chars of the oracle clob filed... Any idea where to start searching the bug? See attached pics... Any comments welcome! Cheers Johann
  2. andfedotov, no, this band hided (not shown) because not all of the detail columns could displaid at this page I tested this by completely removing this band (height 0) - no change.
  3. no problem... here you are! Post Edited by horvatj at 05/19/2009 16:22
  4. Sorry Giulio, but this setting doesn't change this behavoir... Cheers, Johann
  5. Dear forum members, My Columng_Footer sticks on page_footer at lower end of the page... Is there a way to let it continue just right after the datail band ( on every page, even if detail band is splitted up)? In my case this band contains the subtotal sum which really looks ugly when showed at the bottom of the page ;-( Thank you, Johann
  6. Giulio, I tried this already, but as I mentioned before: the problem in that case is: the page breaks avoids the subtotal block to appear (below the details)... Thank you, Johann
  7. harinderrakkar, my Properties>Text Field>Pattern is empty... what shall i put there? Thanks Johann
  8. Dear forum members, sorry for my next issue... my report looks like this: [PAGE 1] [GROUP HEADER] --- 1 hdsfkshdfkjahsdkfhkjsd 10 2 ksjdflksdjlfjsdlkfj 20 3 jsdflsdjfljs 30 [...] 11 ksdjfksdjfkldjf 20 [NEW PAGE FORCED BY JASPER REPORTS ENGINE] Grand Total 1340 What I would need is to force the last detail row to bes shown on the next page (for layout reasons). This should also force the subtotals to be shown on first page. Is there a way to do this? Or a workaround? I tried to add a new_page column in the database, and let a page break item be shown if the detail coulmn (new_page) has got a value =1, but then the layout is totally distroyed... subtotals of page are not shown ;-( Thanks a lot Johann
  9. Dear forum members... A strange problem: I have a filed which comes from an Oracle CLOB. This is embedded into iReport as a java.lang.String column. Strange behavoiur: It cuts off the last characters; i.e. if I have 8100 Chars/bytes in Clob, it displays approx. 8000, if there are 4000 chars, still the last few chars are missing, etc. How may I get out of this? Thank you, Johann
  10. SOLVED: I used this (($V{CQIR_ITEMS_PK_COUNT}.equals(new Integer(1))) ? Boolean.FALSE : Boolean.TRUE) for PRINT_WHEN_EXPRESSION...
  11. My report shows subtotals on every page. This works using a variable. But how may I show the carryover on the group header, showing all subtotals showed on pages before current page? Thanks, Johann
  12. Dear forum members, How may I show my coulmn header repeating at every page (top), where the detail band is shown. My footer might be very long, so I don't want to display it on every page? Thank you, Johann
  13. Dear forum members, I have a report with one group and want to display the subtotal of the PRICE_TOTAL field at the end of each page. I tried to build a variable for this and it seems to do the SUM operation fine, but the footer of the group is only displayed at the last page, so the SUM is the TOTAL ;-) Is there a tutorial or sample file how to achive this? Any comments welcome! Cheers Johann
