  3. Please post the stacktrace of your error. This is most likely related to the syntax of JR STudio where you enter the connection url syntax, make sure your double quotes are taken into accounts.
  4. Hi Cemion, This is an odd behavior, I couldn't reproduce it in the latest version of Studio/Server. Could you ensure you're using the latest version and the supported platform for Studio and Server (Browser, App Server, JVM...). Let us know.
  5. Hi Venkatesh, you'll need to leverage Parameters to achieve your requirements. See this post that I believe has a solution to what you're looking for.
  6. Check out our Dr. Jaspersoft session, where Ramya Pachipula (Jaspersoft Customer Success Architect) showcases how to seamlessly integrate Jaspersoft analytics into your platform using the Visualize.js framework. See our upcoming and previous sessions and recordings in our community here and or at jaspersoft.com here. Keep in touch: drjaspersoft@connect.jaspersoft.com
  7. Performance issues depend on many factors (resources such as ram and CPUs, JVM params, errors, memory leak, tuning....).You would need to fine-tune your environment to lower the response time. The best way to go through this is first to check your logs. Are there any errors? If you can, try increasing the RAM; the larger the size of your files, the more memory you will need. Common performance issues mostly come from not having enough memory allocated to your report engine or misconfigured. Also, please use the latest JRS versions (which are generally better in performance than the previous ones), and use the latest JDK version with the parameters recommended in our install guide. You can go further on the investigation by hooking your JRS with visualVM or another profiling tool and check how much memory your report takes and in which java method it's taking the most of the time, sometimes a bad implementation of report components can impact the memory consumptions, especially for crosstabs. Please see here for how to investigate performance issues and fine-tuning : https://community.jaspersoft.com/wiki/tibco-jasperreports-server-performance-tips-and-tricks https://community.jaspersoft.com/wiki/virtualizers-jasperreports https://community.jaspersoft.com/wiki/using-visual-vm-jasperreports-server-view-call-traces https://community.jaspersoft.com/wiki/changing-garbage-collection-g1-tibco-jasperreports-server https://community.jaspersoft.com/wiki/sun-openjdk-jvm-garbage-collection-tuning
  8. Hi Rishi, could you provide more details on your request? How are you generating the report? (JRS/Studio/Library only) Library/Studio/Server version you're using Which Data Adapter (Sql, Json...) and DB What's the display issue (components, actual results, screenshots..) Logs Thanks
  9. This actually might be a bug. Could you please post the steps to reproduce the issue? We will open a ticket for it. Thanks
  10. Please try this one instead as mentioned in my last comment : "jdbc:sqlserver://mht01:1433/master;instance=SQLexpress" If it didn't work, please review: I can't see the version and name of your driver from your last message. Please check if the driver you're using is actually supported in the community platform supported documentation here based on your version. tibco software sqldriver is shipped with the source code, only available for commercial edition This is where to get the log files:
  11. You can do so using AutoRest Driver but it's available only for Commercial licenses. See here:
  12. Which chart engine are you using? Jaspersoft community edition is using Jfreechart, you can use the properties exposed by the Studio in the advanced section of your chart(see screenshot below). If you can't find what you're looking for in there, you can add a chart customizer class to call the Jfreechart property from it and reference the class in your chart in Studio. (See here)

  14. Check out our Dr. Jaspersoft session, where Lucian Chirita (Jaspersoft Sr. Architect and Principal Engineer) walks you through our new feature that allows you to split the output of a single report executed by the JasperReports Server scheduler into several parts and deliver each individually to different destinations!
