Hello Seniors,
I have a query regarding Jasper iReport 5.6.0 crashing on windows 11 pro.
I have designed all reports in above version when I have win10 and now after installation of new window I am facing problem while opening old reports like as I open it, Jasper software suddenly close without any notification.
1) Is this because windows update? I have tried to download other setup from google but did not work.
2) If I upgrade jasper report version so what version should I use?

3) if I upgrade to JasperSoft to which one I have to use?(JasperReports® Server CE), (JasperReports® Library CE) or (aspersoft® Studio CE)

I have multi pages reports with dual language(English & Urdu) where I am using Jameel Noori Font. so please suggest me with this information.

Thanks in advance for your kind response.

iReport 5.X is an outdated Jaspersoft Studio/Server version. I highly recommend you use our latest versions and preferably use the same version for JasperReports Server CE and Jaspersoft Studio CE.

Jaspersoft Studio for 8.2 Jaspersoft community suite (version: 6.20.5), is certified on Windows 11, so you shouldn't have any Windows-related issues.

Here's the link to download our latest Jaspersoft version (Server, Studio, Library); keep in mind the Server already embeds the right library version so, as Studio.

Here's the link to the platform support for 8.2, you can check other documentation or the same documentation for other versions by going to the global documentation page and selecting your desired version.
