hector.ardila
Hello.Until now, we have been using iReport to design and generate the jrxml files using the jasperreports-6.0.0.jar without any problem. But, after we know that iReport does not continue, we have decided to change to JasperStudio-6.1.0. In our application, we have a lot of libraries, some of them direct dependencies of jasperreports and we don't want to change the version of them to adapt the application for jasperreports-6.1.0 library due to a lot of retest. Will we have problems creating reports with JasperStudio-6.1.0 and running them with jasperreports-6.0.0? Or the best option for us is use JasperStudio-6.0.0 according with the jasperreports-6.0.0 library? Thanks.
Solution marianol Posted July 29, 2015 Solution Share Posted July 29, 2015 You can set JSS in compatibility mode to a specifc JR Library version. You can to change this in the JSS preferences either per file or per project.
hozawa
I think there are some third party libraries that use ifferent versions between the 6.0.0. and 6.1.0.
hector.ardila
Thanks for the answers, but @Marianol, how can I set a specific JR Library version on JSS?
