My mother passed away this month and I'm not really feeling too well. She had a brain hemorrhage 6 years ago that left her right side paralyzed. The doctor told us that she may have another brain hemorrhage soon that'll probably stop her vital organs from functioning. I was taking care of her because she didn't want to go the a nursing home. Miraculously she stablized and I really thought everything was going well. However, she had another brain hemorrhage earlier this month that stopped her vital organs. Since her right side was paralyzed, she really needed constant care especially since she was also coming down with dementia. She, nevertheless, was being to weaken this year so I've decided to provide patches I've announced in this forum before and provide answers to questions so I'll have some more time later. Unfortunately, she passed away right before I was finishing up. I'm really depressed from the sudden death because she was as usual the night before. I'm also relieved because taking care of her was very demanding and I really had to psych myself up every day for all these years. Something in me snapped when she passed away and I really need to take some rest now. I'm sure the others in this forum would be able to provide assistance.

Added a "net.sf.jasperreports.export.text.isInputForm" to switch text field and static text component to pdf form text fields. Just set this property to "true" on static text or text field. I've added property "net.sf.jasperreports.export.text.isInputForm" on Static Text and Text Field that will make them into form input field on pdf export so the values are editable. https://github.com/ozawa-hi/jasperreports/tree/input_text To build, clone the following project and execute "ant jar". File "jasperreports-master-SNAPSHOT.jar" will be created in the "dist" directory. May need a little bit more work to do. Appreciate if you'll test it and content me on any issues. Thanks,

I've just committed a source that would turn every text field and static text to a form input text field. I'll try to add a property that'll select whether to use regular text or to generate form input text. iReport is no longer supported. Development has ceased several years ago. Try using Jaspersoft Studio and see if the same condition occurs.

Adhoc and Visualize.js are commercial products. If you think you've found a bug, report to TIBCO Jaspersoft commercial product support. You should have gotten information on commercial support with your license.

Just delete the directory where you've unpacked it. Not sure why versioning down from 6.7 to 6.1 will help in working with Oracle DB though.

Are everybody updating to newer versions of bouncycastle that's used in itext version used by JasperReports? I've been updating mine and won't mind creating a pull request if someone can tell me jasperreports' itext project fork at GitHub.

He probably wrote a program to process the jasper files for your environment. If you can't do it, it's probably better to get someone to come to your site who can do it for you. AFAIK, there's no general solution.

Old question but an answer for anyone else. First, iReport is not using eclipse. That said, I'm going to show how to use JasperReports library in eclipse in a maven project.
