hozawa
RedHat is providing security patch for JasperReports Server 5.5.0 but I haven't seen anything from Jaspersoft about releasing a patch to their professional users. Does Jaspersoft have any plan on releasing any security patches for there professional users? What happening here?https://rhn.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2014-0037.html
hozawa
Seems like Redhat made those patches themselves. Jaspersoft doesn't have them. Which seems to mean it's better to buy JasperReports from Redhat than Jaspersoft because they offer better service.
Solution mryzhikova Posted March 20, 2014 Solution Share Posted March 20, 2014 Hozawa - the issue RedHat is reffering too has to do with 'Apache Hadoop RPC protocol', which is not part of jasperserver and is only applicable to users who use that protocol. Also, all JasperServer patches available trhu RedHat are delivered to them my Jaspersoft.
