Need infomation regarding Jasper soft 6.5.1 Final community edition for development

Dear Community Members,

I am going to use jasper soft studio 6.5.1 final community edition for developing my report for one of my project 

I have downloaded it from https://community.jaspersoft.com/project/jaspersoft-studio/releases link .

I have few question before we start using it:

1: Is this version licence free ?

2: is this support digital signature ? If yes then what is the process and steps to implement it in reports?

3:Is there any chance of getting popup mesages to get licence after using this version for few month ?

Hi Rohit,

You're using the Community Edition, open source edition of Jaspersoft Studio so it doesn't require a license.
Why do you need digital signature support? How do you plan to use it?

Hello Rohit,

as Raphael mentioned you don't need a license for community edition of the Studio. You only need a license to create reports with HTML5 charts.

1. By "free", if you mean if you can use it without paying for a license, then yes. It's under the eclipse license.

2. Digitally signing a report is not supported by JasperReports. However, unless the report file is encrypted, digital signature is independent of how the report file was created. More over, JasperReports is an open source project so it's possible to modify the source code too.

3. I've been using the community version and has not experienced seeing a popup.
