  1. Hello Jasper team, Here is a problem in the $X{IN, …,…} interpretor by the jasper server : It is impossible to do such thing : $X{IN, $P!{STRING_IC}, MULTI_SELECT_IC } If so, only the $P!{INPUTCONTROL} will be interpreted, but the $X{IN,...,...} will not be interpreted by the jasperserer and so, produce an sql error. I suppose it would only need another pass inside the interpretor. - Are you aware of this limitation ? - do you know if you will fix it ? Regards WT
  2. Hello Sherman, My purpose is to retrieve the report params default values via the WS. I have read the JasperServer-Web-Services-Guide.pdf 3.7 (RC and pro version). For the moment, I download the main JRXML via the "get" service and then parse it to get the parameter "defaultValueExpression" tag. But this solution gives the java/code expression, not the evaluated value after execution. Exple : "new Integer(1532)" instead of simply "1532" So could you simply tell us if the WebService can give us the default value of report parameters ? Regards William T. GalaxySemi.com
  3. Hello Jasper I haved tried the 3.7RC and the multiselect cascading works great. Then I have installed the simple Cascading example "cascading-ce-v1.zip" and it does not work anymore. The cascaded parameters are always replaced by '?'. Regards William
  4. Hi All, We are try the cascading 1.0 patch on 3 different computers with out any success. When trying the example, the navigator error message console shows errors like intiAggregate, initCascade,... not defined. Those functions are defined in cascade.js The cascade.js file, with other files, has been correctly copied in /webapps/jasperserver/scripts dir. This file seems correctly "included" in FillParams.jsp and some other jsp. Any ideas ? Regards, William.
  5. Hi Sherman & Christina, We have spend 1full day to try the cascading 1.0 patch on 3 different computers with absolutely no success. The navigator error message console shows messages like intiAggregate, initCascade,... not defined whereas the cascade.js file, with other files, has been correctly copied in /webapps/jasperserver/scripts dir. Any ideas ? Regards, William. Post Edited by tambellini at 11/09/2009 12:16
  6. I have exactly the same problem with iReport 3.5.0 + JR 3.5.0. Preview is ok, "Run report" gives a no page error just after the parameter window. Moreover : - I have of course added an Input control with appropriate type to the report - I have named the input control the same as the parameter - I have read the JasperServer doc (actually nearly all the Jasper docs) even the Apress "old" definitive guide - I have even added a default value, just to be sure - I have tried all the prompt options ("Always prompt"...) There is a problem. Regards William
