Hi, I think it is impossible to pass the selected value of one drop down into the query used by other drop down on custom jsp only . Suppose we take the example of Single value selected from query input control .Any Comment.... Vishal

Hi , First of all u have put iReport question on jasperserver forum so it would be more convienient know your question on iReport forum. You have to manually type the "ReportExecution" and then press enter that will show all tabs used by ReportExecution option. Enjoy .... Vishal

Hi, I manage to get my own Menu Display by manipulating JI-Menu.xml. Also done changes in jasperserver-messages.properties. But when is see result all the submenu are display at right most place (improperly) on the jsp. I know this is CSS problem but i dont know CSS. How do i see this Custom menu Properly as Jasperserver. Thanks Sherman , I successfully passed multiselect values as link parameter on on drilling to child report. My objective is to set focus those values on child report which had been selected at Main Report. Let me clear this as example. Suppose i selected [Gents Footwear, Ladies Footwear ,Kids Footwear] from Main Report . Now link parameter has "Gents Footwear, Ladies Footwear ,Kids Footwear" value. Again i making Collection from this String using java.Arrays.asList() method. Its working fine to execute query. When i set java.Arrays.asList($P{linkParameter}.split(",")) as Default value Expression in iReport it does not give any result means not shows the default values the report is working fine . When i Hardcoded the values like java.Arrays.asList("Gents Footwear") as Default Value Its shows the Default Value Selected at Child Report. Hi swood , I tried with DefaultParameterForms.jsp but this couldnt work. I put cascading logic and the comboboxes there but no luck. This has become Bottleneck for me. You can make a Subreport on that you can make another Connection. Vishal

Hi, if you are using iReport 3.5 then scriptlet.java compiled it seperately and make a jar file then in go to tools>opttion>classpath in iReport upload that jar file with the report.May this help you. Vishal

If you want loop in iReport then you have to make a Scriptlet for it which is java code.

See the split method returns the array of String[] so if you call "abc;def;ghi;jkl".split(";"); then it returns {"abc","def","ghi","jkl"} as Array of String[]. Now if you calling split() method so it must be in the loop. Vishal
