  1. Hi Swood, We are using JasperServer3.5.0. You did mention that we can generate database scripts from the source. Could you please let me know what all database type scripts can be generated. We are looking for Jasper Repository DB scripts for Oracle, SQL Server and DB2. Thanks for your help. Subha
  2. Hi, Please, can anyone help me on this? Thanks, Subha
  3. Hi, A JasperServer installer or the war distribution zip contain the resource bundles for just English locale. It is said that JasperServer can be configured to work for different locales. Should we need to create our own resource bundles for different locales or are they available from some where? Can anyone let me know on this. Thanks for your help. 6. I have a requirement where depending on user input parameter 2 different tables are queried. But the resultset for the tables vary by 2 fields. How can I handle this. Is there a way by which I can disable or hide fields in a report. I tried having a boolean expression for PrintWithExpression properties in both field header and field value. Also Checked the option "Remove line when blank" for both field header and field value. And also Checked the option "Blank when null" for field value. Still I get the error: com.jaspersoft.jasperserver.api.JSExceptionWrapper: Unknown column name : DEP_UUID ... ... Here DEP_UUID is the column name which is not present in the query resultset. I want to have this column because I want to show it for a differnt query based on user input. This is very much necessary for me. I am a beginner with iReport and have been struggling on this for a while. May be I am missng some basic knowledge. Could anyone please come forward to help me. Thanks, Subha

  8. Hi Sherman, That is great. Thanks for the information. I want to run reports on the JasperServer Community Edition. Does this Column Manager library come with JasperServer Community or Professional Editions. Also please let me know if such reports can be designed with IReport. Many Thanks, Subha
  9. There is one more similar requirement where depending on user input parameter 2 different tables are queried. But the resultset for the tables vary by 2 fields. How can I handle this. 10. Hi Sherman, Thanks a lot for the information. It will be around 4 breadcrumbs. It would be good to re-run the previous reports when their breadcrumbs are selected. Otherwise also how easy is it to implement traversing to the previously generated data with the help of breadcrumbs. Thanks, Subha
  11. Hi, We have a requirement where the user should be able to enter any SQL query in the report input form. The report should be generated for that query. So the user can query for vaying fieldsets in each of his SQL queris. I am not sure how to create a Jasper report which can handle dynamic fieldsets. Does Jasper support such a requirement? It would be great if anyone can please help me on this? Thanks, Subha
  12. Can we incorporate a breadcrumbs feature for tabular reports that have links which drill down to other reports? Once the user has clicked on a link to see the next report the context is lost. If we can add a breadcrumb at the top left of the page that shows the trail of links clicked it would really help with navigation. Can anyone help me if this can be done in JasperServer. Thanks, Subha
  13. Hi, I want to show a custom input controls page for a report. I do know which jsp to customize and how to assign it to a report unit. My query is to what extent can we customize. Can we create our own input controls and use them instead of the JasperServer widgets. Suppose for the datetime input control am I bound to use that which is provided with JasperServer only. Please can anyone answer me. Thanks, Subha
