Is possible to sum only some particular field in Jaspersoft?

I am new on jasper soft. i have using jasper soft studio for develope jasper report.

 

Suppose i have table and i want below result.

 

Name      Inv_amount    Total 

 

Hari      

                  12     

                  13          

                  15    

                                             40

 

Sarju  

                 19    

                 20          

                 21    

                                             60

 

 

but when i use the sum of Inv_amount column that give me the below result.

i want only sum of particular customer Inv_amount.

 

Name    Inv_amount    Total 

 

Hari    

                12     

                13          

                15    

                                         40

 

Sarju    

               19    

               20          

               21    

                                      100

 

 

so how can i got only sum of particular customer ? pls help me.

You'll need to create a group based on "name" and set "Reset type" to group name.

1. Create a variable.
2. Set Reset Type Group.
3. Set Initital value expression to 0.
4. Variable expression  (variable+Inv_amount)
