AISU
I think download mysql driver and add to the classpath of Jaspersoft Studio.
hozawa
Jaspersoft decided to bundle mariadb jdbc driver instead of mysql jdbc driver. You'll need to use mariadb driver class or download mysql connector/J.
Ankur Gupta
Hi sruthyms,This error comes up when there is mysql Connector missing, so what all you need to do is :1. Place the mysql connector jar file in the folder called plugin under the imstallation folder of Jasper Soft studiofor instance , C:/JasperSoft Studio- x.x.x/plugins folder.2. Then try validating the datasource, for sure you will get the connection test passed.I am attaching the MySQL Connector Jar file along with the post.Hope that this helps. saw_928
Hi SruthymsYou can just add the " MySQL Connector"(Driver) at the Driver classpath. Click on the Data Adapter Wizard and select the Database JDBC Connect then click on the Driver Classpath to add ur Connector.Hope this helps.
