Customize Jasper Server

Is there any guide for changing the look and feel of Jasper server JSP Pages.

For Example, if i want to change the Logo, the login page, The header...etc

There is a white paper that JasperSoft has on the site currently that is very helpful. I tried to upload it to the forum but it is too big. You can find it on the JasperSoft site under white papers. You have to register etc., but it is still there. It is called - Customizing and Rebranding the JasperSoft User Interface

Here are a few tips that might help:

To change something like the logo checkout WEB-INF/decorators/main.jsp. This is SiteMesh's main decorator. A change here will effect every page. Back up before modifying.

To change something like background colour checkout stylesheets/stylesheet.css.

To change the login screen check out WEB-INF/jsp/login_welcome.jsp.

I did download the documentation.

The documentation is for JS professional. I am guessing it will work with Community addition also. Right ??

Yup. The underlying architecture is the same. The screen shots might have small differences here and there and the URLs in the examples might be different, e.g., instead of http://server:8080/jasperserver-pro/whatever, you'll use http://server:8080/jasperserver/whatever.

The whitepaper was helpful.

I wanted to change the background color of the login.jsp and main.jsp, I tried using the Body tags in both the jsp file and the stylesheet.css file, but they did not work.

Rebranding of jasper server doesnot take fully effect on internet explorer.can anybody help me what to css code need to be written in override-ie.css file.
