Yes Jasperserver Pro 3.7 works ok on windows 7.

Hi,

I have just installed Jaspersoft pro on Windows 7.Jasperserver is working fine but iReport isnt.

When you click on file -> new -> blank template-> open this template

Now if you click browse button, then it nothing happens. it doesnt open the wizard to select the location.

The same happens when u select the excel datasource for the report query, and when u click to select excel, again no response, the window to select the file doesnt open. But all the other buttons work fine.

Basically all the browse buttons arent working all the rest are working fine.

 

Please guide.

JDK 1.7 is required to run iReport on Windows 7. Open /save dialog issue can be  resolved using jdk 1.7 on windows 7 thanks[/code]

We are facing the same issue. As suggested installed JDK 1.7, but the problem still remains.

Can you explain the specific steps needed after installing JDK1.7

I've downloaded and installed iReport separately from the JasperServer and it's working fine on MS Windows7.
