dboutin
Hi,When using the report server view inside iReport3.1.4 / JasperServer 3.5 and opening the main.xml file of a report unit and then choosing the 'Replace with current jrxml' item of contextual menu inside the server treeview, i've got the error : Error : 2-1 validation error(s) : A resource already has this name. Do you know how to resolve this problem ? Regards,Denis.
mdahlman
Denis, This is a bug in JasperServer Community Edition v3.5 RC1. It is already resolved in JasperServer Pro v3.5 (Generally Available version). It will be fixed in JasperServer CE 3.5 when it goes GA as well. That's expected by the end of April. (Or if you grab the source and build it yourself you can avoid the problem, of course.) For now the workaround is to load the .jrxml files using the JasperServer web interface. It's a hassle... but it works. Regards,Matt
madhavig
Hi, I am using JasperServer community edition 3.5 with iReports 3.1.4. I am also getting the same error when I try to add input control to the already created report. Both are running locally on WIndows XP. attached is the screenshot of the error. Thank you.-Madhavi
Giulio Toffoli
The problem is not related to the iReport version, it is a server side error, and this has been fixed in 3.5 GA (aka the final version), probably you are still using a 3.5 RC.Giulio
