Jaspersever community 5.2 version can not start on windows

Hi,

I download 32 bit jasperserver cp but it can not start.

Apache tomcat is not started by default, and when i try to start manually it gives error that windows unable to start tomacat.

please suggest proper solution for that.

Is actually a Tomcat problem not a Jasper problem. What do you see in the Windows Log or the Catalina log (Tomcat Log) that is preventing Apache Tomcat to start.

It will help if you specify the version of windows and the type of instalation you have done of Jasper (bundled or war file)

Hi,

 

I used bundeled tomcat while installation on windows xp 32 bit OS.

It gives problem with version 5.1 and 5.2 while 5.0.1 works fine with bundled tomcat.

You have to check if your pc has install the jdk

Remember Tomact is a Java server and need the jdk.
