reportdev
You could try a Mercurial Repo. Once you set up the mercurial repo, you could also write some deployment scripts using Maven anddeploy the reports directly from Mercurial to the Jasper sever using REST
hozawa
Sorry to hear that git is not your option because I'm using Gitlab with pipeline to sync Jaspersoft Studio repo with JasperReports Server.Anyways, any repo should do. I have tried using svn?

andersnesr541
Hello!A version control system for Jasper Reports is an effective method to keep your reports well-organized and current. With the use of version control, you can monitor changes made to your reports, and revert to previous versions as required. Andersen software company offers an excellent tool for managing Jasper Reports, and it is highly suggested to use it to ensure your reports stay in order and secure. cyfrania
When choosing a version control system, consider the following: Integration with Jaspersoft Studio: Ensure that the version control system you choose can integrate well with Jaspersoft Studio, even if it requires some manual setup or the use of intermediary tools. Ease of Use: Since your team is small, picking a system that's easy to learn and use will help minimize disruptions and get everyone up to speed quickly. Scalability: While you're a small team now, consider whether you might grow in the future and if the system can scale with you. Before implementing any system, it might be worthwhile to do a trial run with a small, non-critical project to ensure that the version control system meets your needs and works well with your existing tools and workflows.
