Code Review tools for iReport Designer?

Please suggest us a tool for reviewing code of Jasper Reports. We expect the tool to demonstrate the changes in UI as well as in the query.

 

Also please share the code or UI changes guidelines/standards/best practices if possible.

I would suggest using a repository such as mercurial,

then you can export out the jrxml's and review the code changes through hg workbench.

if you are using any other way of version control, then you can use notepad ++ with compare plugin.

iReport is depreciated and no longer supported. Suggest that you switch to Jaspersoft Studio. Jaspersoft Studio is based on eclipse and users are able to use eclipse plugin such as git, svn, and maven plugins.
