  1. Hello Chaitanya, Can you verify whether or not you have Java installed on the instance you are attempting to install JasperReports Server? There is a known issue, since JRS 8.2.0, where if you do not have JAVA installed you could run into the issue you are seeing. Installing JAVA usually will fix this issue. Regards, Dale Booth
  2. Also did you do a bundled / bundled, bundled / existing, existing / bundled, or existing / existing installation? If any sort of existing, what version was the existing software did you use?
  3. The 404 indicates that something could not be found. Can you review the installation log file, Tomcat catalina.out, and jasperserver.log files to see if they provide any additional details.

  5. Hello Venkatesh, you can find a complete list of downloadable versions of JSS at: https://community.jaspersoft.com/project/jaspersoft-studio/releases With regards to JasperReports Server, there was no version 6.0 CE. A complete list of available versions can be found at: https://community.jaspersoft.com/project/jasperreports-server/releases Regards, Dale Booth
  6. JasperReports Server 6.0.1 (32-bit) is available on Linux only: https://community.jaspersoft.com/project/jasperreports-server/releases jasperreports-server-cp-6.0.1-linux-x86-installer.run Dale Booth
  7. The original site that I provided defaults to Microsoft Windows, but if you select, Platform Independent, you have the option of tar and/or zip files, which would allow you to get the JDBC driver jar. Dale
  8. Ripon, When you create a report you have different bands in the report. The Summary band is towards the bottom of the report. This is what Lisa is referring to. You can see these via the Window -> Report Inspector. If you right mouse click on any band you can Delete it from the report or re-add it to the report. Dale
  9. Is the MySQL Driver jar in your CLASSPATH? The MySQL Driver jar file is not shipped with JasperReports Server 4.5.x and beyond. You'll be looking for mysql-connector-java-5.1.xx-bin.jar, where xx is an integer. http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/j/ - 5.1.22 can be downloaded.
  10. Found this within the community. Is this a possibility? http://community.jaspersoft.com/questions/543049/jrprint-output-format-throws-404-using-rest Dale
  11. Try the credentials (userid / password): jasperdb / password instead of: jasperdb / jasperdb. You can see this if you log into JasperReports Server, select View -> Search Results, under All types, select More choices, select Data sources. Right mouse click on Foodmart Data Source and select Test Connection. You'll get a Connection passed msg. If you change the password to: jasperdb and reselect the Test Connection button, you'll get a Connection failed msg. Change the password back to: password, and the Test Connection will pass again. In addition, if you select the Save password check box in iReport, then you'll not get the Password pop-up window.
  12. Jaspersoft ETL 5.0.2 is the latest release. http://community.jaspersoft.com/project/jaspersoft-etl/releases
  13. This issue and the resolution can be found at this site: http://community.jaspersoft.com/wiki/owaspcsrfguard-properties-message-stdout Dale
  14. Hello, This issue is occurring because the *.jar files, found under the <js-install>\buildomatic\config_source directory structure cannot be found. If you switch to the <js-install>\buildomatic directory and re-execute your command it should work. Dale
