Hi all , we were looking to explore JRS6.3.0 as full fledged BI reportsystem to connect and get the data from all kind of Database ( example : JDBC - MSSQL, DB2, PostGreSQL, AllegroGraph database etc) , when I am checking the Inforrmation page. I don't find any more details about GraphDatabase system. did any one thinking similer or some one tried in past ? Jasper communtiy not active or Jasper product SME's not reading the post on the community postings ?

Noticed that, with Jaspersoft report server Enterpirse editon , when user login every time they have to keyin the information 1. Organization 2. Userid 3. password. say example if user is golbal user, he should remember all Orgaization names which he entitle to connect. recently I notieced that Organization under Multitentancy we can't get as dropdown list, this is one of the stuff which I am looking. did any one have similer issue or any soultions to address my requeirment

Hi, This issue still contiune with jasper 6.1.1 as well.. Dear Jaspersoft community team, Recently we setup javamelody monitoring tool for JRSv6.1.1 then after week. we noticed that while we do domain security file Import. we encounter with Invalid file format errors. once we disable the Javamelody Monitoring options what I setup as per below link ( http://community.jaspersoft.com/wiki/javamelody-monitoring-tool) , with out Javamelody-monitoring tool all working good. now my concern is do we have any other tool or better way to monitor the JRS server. or JRSv6.1.1 not tested with Javamelody monitoring tool. JRS 6.1.1with tomact version 8.0.14. Appericated your feedback/ suggestions.

Hi Elizam , Thanks for your reply. let me explore the options. as i don't have some group as AD is generic auth. but when I use AD id to access JRS URL. the LDAP auth will default adding on ROLE_USER access only. if I want to control access on AD users with different roles. I could not do that, mainly if I want add specific users as part of ROLE_ADMIN to manage JRS system. Jasper user access Security or Role based auth-part, How to do, information is very limited. JRS system designer life is more changeling to get complete Product function integration.Looking for alternative options for Design point and post live Operational Point of view as well. ( looking on more automation way insist of create or assign roles for each user in manual mode)

One of Project. would like to use the role base access to LDAP user. created different level of roles on JRS and when I add or assign the roles to specific user from jasperadmin or super user role and when I switch to user AD id, could not find the role what I assigned. always I can see all AD/LDAP user only one role as " ROLE_USER" only. can any one tried with Jasper report server with LDAP users to limit the access on role base access or do we need to create the local user on Jasper server to use the options of Roles. if this has a Product Limitation. Jasper soft should mention the LDAP/ AD Integration not fully supported!. Looking forward feedback from jasper soft report server experts on how to Integrate.

Hi , Noticed that Jaspersoft Report Server - URL / UI based options on GUI not working.. when I select for option under super user login > Manage > server > orgination > export / Import settings > select all > save as explort.zip the UI not responding and after 5 -10 mins, getting error as request timeout.

Did any one upgraded the jasper studio from lower version to Jaspersoft® Studio 6.1.1. Please share the feedback or any one tried options and lession learned good to share with us. what I think for my upgrade Plan : 1. Take full packup of exsting workspace. 2. install Jasper studio 6.1.1 as Parallel Install or diff path then exsting Jasper studio verion. 3. Import the workspace with Jasper 6.1.1 and test the funcation. 4. should not be an issues, still jaspersupport docs, we could not find any information on studio version upgrade / Migration related information. looking forward to document the Information.

its suspected bug in Jasper 6.1.1 for export / import options. even which I do export from jasper v6.1.0 ( Linux) to Jasper report server v6.1.1 ( Linux) getting same error as timeout. but the same config if I import to windows 7 of jasper 6.1.1 its working. I assume that Jasper report v6.1.1 not fully tested and we may end up with more bugs.

issue resloved : jasper report server version upgrade is night mare. you can't copy and restore the config file or xml, its like to redo everything from scratch fixed the issue of LDAP auth. but other chain off issues ongoing. mainly the UI is very slow etc..

Kindly take note that, I am trying to upgrade from Jasper report server 6.1.0 to 6.1.1 ( not from 6.0.1) , this should be a stright forward as i assumed. but the fact is too many messup on Product code and no clear docs as well. so its hard to work with product :) ,

Jasper version to version the code has as lot of Deprecation. please log a call with Jasper support.upgrading the version is like a new full setup and you may be encounter a tough time.

Hi, I think,customization very limited with jasper soft, as I noticed that source code has a lot of hard coded value, its very changeling to do any customization. its non-matured Product and good to use as standard Build form. still if you feel that, custom needed. good to log a case with tibco and share your solutions to the community as well.

Jasper report V6.1 will support IBM Websphere Libery ?
