  1. Hi there everybody. I posted this question on the Ireport forum last week, but no luck yet. I am trying to create a report (in Ireport) with three input controls in the form of drop down boxes. The input controls should however be dynamic, so that when i select a car in box 1, for example a "Ford", box 2 should only show only the types belonging to "Ford" like "Taurus" or/and "Mondeo". I want to use select query's for the drop down boxes. Someone suggested to create a JSP that passes the parameters to this specific report, but i don't have a clue on how to accomplish this. Couldn't find a useful code example either I don't have much java experience, so if anyone knows the solution, please explain it to me as if i were a three year old. I would very greatful. Many thanx in advance
  2. Hi there. The type of hyperlink is correct. You only have to add a parameter in the "link parameter" tab call it "_report" then give the jasperserver link to the report like "/reports/Your_Report_Folder/YourReport" save and add to repository. Try running the report on the jasperserver.
  3. Thanx, this definitely puts me in the right direction, now all I need is to find an example, which could be challenge I'm afraid.
  4. Thanx, but do you also know how to accomplish this?
  5. Hi Everybody I have a question about the input controls. I want to have three drop down boxes on my report. The first one should be a simple single select query. The second box should only show values dependent on the value given in box 1. same goes for box 3. Is there anyway to do this? Thanx

  7. Hi Everybody, I posted this problem a couple of days ago, but haven't received any feedback at all. Is there no one who knows how to reference a report using a Hyperlink reference in another report? If anyone does know, please help. I would be very greatful. I am trying to make a hyperlink reference in a column. So far so good. But how do set up the link so that it references to another report that i have made. hope someone can help me Many thanx in advance
