How to calculate page number in jasper report?

I have a "table of content" at first page of the report in which I want to have page numbers values.

How can I calculate the page number in jasper report and put the correct numbers in "Table of Contents" list.

Have a look on the report I have attached - I want to add page numbers associated with each country name.

Hi,

if you use the Report Book from the Templates you will get a Table of Content. How to link the used Reports and what to do to send the correct Page-Numbers to the TOC will be explain in the Documentation here:

I am not using report book. There is only a single report that I am creating. Can I still use this feature or is there any other way we can create TOC ?

I think the most simple solution will be to use the Report Book Template, but only the TOC and your Report as content. You can use the properties of the Bookmarks (with Level) and Hyperlinks and the TOC will be generated automatically.
