asloan
Recently we moved from an Oracle Database to HANA. Reports are now going against HANA. Reports are intermitantly and inconsistenly failing. Since they actually do run sometimes, there queries are correct. These are NOT new reports Anyone know how to best troubleshoot or how to track why they are failing on the SERVER. Against Oracle we did not have this issue so I am *assuming* it is something with connections or timeouts with HANA. SERVER information: Product Version: 6.3.0 Build: 20160629_1853 messages: Error filling report Arguments: at com.jaspersoft.jasperserver.api.engine.jasperreports.service.impl.EngineServiceImpl$FillResultListener.reportFillError(EngineServiceImpl.java:1345) at net.sf.jasperreports.engine.fill.BaseFillHandle.notifyError(BaseFillHandle.java:216) at net.sf.jasperreports.engine.fill.BaseFillHandle$ReportFill.run(BaseFillHandle.java:138) at com.jaspersoft.jasperserver.api.engine.jasperreports.service.impl.EngineServiceImpl$SynchronousExecutor.execute(EngineServiceImpl.java:924) at net.sf.jasperreports.engine.fill.BaseFillHandle.startFill(BaseFillHandle.java:169) at At wits end trying to troubleshoot something that is not consistent. Friendly User
Hello Ann,you should take a look at the full exception in the jasperserver.log file ({JRS WAR}/WEB-INF/logs/jasperserver.log). Also I would suggest using JNDI connection instead of JDBC connection if you're not already using one.
