shivani.katariya Posted June 9, 2017 Share Posted June 9, 2017 sometimeswhen stopping tomcat and postgresql using command ./ctlscript.sh stoptomact stopped and postregresql does not stop and in the postgresql log database is shutting down error shownso,i am not able to start it from manager ui, its shows errorFail-Application at context path /jasper server could not be started. how i can this issue get resolved. it happened frequently. hozawa Posted June 12, 2017 Share Posted June 12, 2017 I strongly recommend users not to use the all in one installation because it doesn't work too well and it's difficult to monitor, apply patches, and version up just the database and application server.Recommend that you install Postgresql first, then Tomcat, and then install JasperReports Server and select Postgresql and Tomcat.
