Save PDF to disk

Hi,

I must save the PDF generated from Jasper Report in a local directory on my server. I read that I can do that via REST API (creating a scheduled job), but it's possible to obtain same result through the traditional URL (http://localhost:8080/jasperserver/flow.html?_flowId=viewReportFlow&reportUnit=..........), passing path as parameter?

If you're accessing from the uri, you'll just get the pdf to the calling program (e.g. Web Browser) instead of the pdf being saved to server's hard disk.

Sorry but I don't understand.. I would to generate a PDF and save it to the disk automatically. This is possible by web services, but through normal URI? I can save the file manually, but this isn't my objective.
