ilkkayli
I'm trying to move from iReport 4.6.0 to Jaspersoft Studio because I want to be compatible with Java 8. When trying to open my jrxml files (created in iReport) in Jaspersoft Studio 6.3.1, I'm experiencing extremely slow performance in Jaspersoft Studio. Startup takes loooooong time when these reports are pre-opened and every click in the IDE takes tens of seconds. I have increased the memory allocated to the Studio. It doesn't help.Anyone experienced the same? Is there anyway to find out the reason for this? Log files or something?
Solution hozawa Posted January 9, 2017 Solution Share Posted January 9, 2017 I was having some problems with 6.3.1 so I'm sticking with 6.3.0. There's some problems with 6.3.0 like not being able to change border with from the properties dialog but at least I can use it - don't recommend 6.3.1. ilkkayli
Just accepted hozawa's answer. 6.3.0 seems to work better!
jloveluck
I am using 6.3.0 and am finding it extremely slow. Interactions with the server (opening reports, publishing, expanding resource hierarchies) are the biggest problems.
jvl
I have Kubuntu 16.04 and Version 6.30 which is so slow it is hardly usable eating loads of CPU resources.Had to kill the process to get my machine to cool down. What is wrong with Tibco?
