steph_tls
Hi,I am using the community version of jasper..I am trying to use some rectangle or frame jasper element and it works well when they are just added in report. However when those element are superimposed ( Order / Send to Backward ) they do not appear in the jasper xlsx export.Any idea of what I need to set up ? :)
hozawa
You'll need to modify JasperReports library to support it like I have.See the following thread:http://community.jaspersoft.com/questions/971401/frame-or-rectangle-send-backward-do-not-appear-xlsx-export

steph_tls
Hi, thanks for your answer.I forgot to mention it works well in the java preview but when the report is exported through excel file not.It works well when I export the report to pdf format and also not working with word format.Regarding your post my rectangle configuration is sent to backward and it is more similar to the pink rectangle row number 25,26.There are a lot of element onto this rectangle.Maybe there is a jasper property to add in the jrxml file.... mike_94
Has any one been able to solve this issue. I can get frames and rectangles to work in every file format except for XLSx and DOCx.
rishabh.maheshwari16
Hi all,I've found a way to do it using iReport. I'll explain it so if anyone has the same problem can solve it. There's no need to use rectangle box for it.Select the text field and right click, In the context menu select padding and borders and assign a non zero value to the line width and color code as well.
