formatting numbers of a report

WOW do I ever feel like a greenhorn.  I have a report, it has three numbers on it, 2 come from a Postgresql database, the third is calculated at runtime.    Here is the problem I am having, and it is simple.  The calculated field is coming out like "25.231254785"    Where what I need is "25.23"  I would have thought this would be easy, but for the life of me I can not find the place you put the format of a field.

Any help would be awsome, thanks in advance.

iReport development has already stopped and people are strongly urged to switch over to Jaspersoft Studio.

The place to enter format is "Pattern" in "Text Field" in Properties of a Text component.
