jonahlondon
Hi, I'm trying to add my own Java classes as Built In Functions to use in the Expression Editor but they are not appearing there. I'm expecting to see an extra folder 'Custom Category' with my new Functions but it is not there. Can you see what I have missed? I'm using the JasperStudio plugin in Eclipse Mars on Windows 7, Java 8 is JRE for my Eclipse but I have the same problem with Java 6. Followng this tutorial http://community.jaspersoft.com/wiki/jaspersoft-studio-expression-editor-how-extend-it-and-contribute-your-own-functions-part-2-0 I've used the wizard to set up the classes. I've seen other similar questions where editing Jasper Studio.ini to change the JVM was mentioned, but I cannot see that in my Eclpse installation. Any ideas? Here are the classes that I have set up : But when I go to the Expression Editor, expecting to see my DECIMAL_HOURS in the list of built-in functions, it's not there. hozawa
May be it's a problem with the plugin. I'm using the bundled version and everything is OK.I think I had to restart Jaspersoft Studio to see the functions.
