alamuvinai
Hi,Initially I installed jasper 6.1 trial version in my local - used the trial license. After 30 days, it expired. We do have commercial license - when I copy this over to the users home directory, it says"License Failed Your license has expired. If you evaluated JasperReports Server and have just installed a new version of it, your evaluation license has expired. Please contact eval@jaspersoft.com for assistance"Can someone point out how to fix this issue? Using windows 7 and tomcat
ryanp424
In Windows Explorer enable it so you can view hidden files. There will be a .jslic file and I believe a .jasperserver directory in the user's home directory. Delete these files and restart. Let me know how it turns out! hozawa
I had several problems with the license myself. Once it expires, replacing it with a new license doesn't work. Another bug I had was with server shutting down even after I updated the license. If you can, the best way to fix JasperReports Licensing issue is to re-install the server from the OS. If that's not possible, you can put the license file in a different folder and specify the license folder location using js.license.directory option in your jvm.http://community.jaspersoft.com/documentation/jasperreports-server-source-build-guide/v561/java-options-and-jasperserver-license
