How to auto-refresh a html-Report

Hello,

we are trying to auot-refresh our html-generated Jasper reports. Unfortunately it is not possible to insert auto-refresh functions into the header in iReport or to insert it into the html report element.

Right now we generate the html pages by scheduling it every minute and use a browser plugin to reload it every minute. There has to be a better option. Does anyone know it?

I think that your approach is the best one assuming you are using JasperReports Community. The professional version has Visualize.js and Dashboards that will allow you to simplify that process. Check here: http://community.jaspersoft.com/project/visualizejs
