williamtwynn
I restarted Jasperserver CP 6.01, and now Tomcat is unable to start the application. Think it has to do with ehcache? Invocation of init method failed; nested exception is org.hibernate.cache.CacheException: net.sf.ehcache.CacheException: Unable to create CacheManagerPeerListener. Initial cause was jasper: jasper: Name or service not knownI'm thinking this is the first time this particular Jasper instance has been restarted. Any ideas? nthapa
What system are you using? is it Mac?
nthapa
If you are not using JRS in clustered environment, the easiest way to handle this is to hunt down CacheManagerPeerListener tag in ehcache configuration files and comment them out. There are few files, which I dont have the list yet. But they have filename of pattern *ehcache*.xml. There are 3 or so files.HTH
Solution williamtwynn Posted March 10, 2015 Author Solution Share Posted March 10, 2015 It happened that all I had to do was make an addition to etc/hosts with an entry for '127.0.0.1 jasper'.
hozawa
Any reason to why clustering is turned on by default? This is a seroous flaw in JRS because it fails to install on a standalone server without a network.
