Shortcut to toggle Magnetic Attraction

I assume you are talking about Jaspersoft Studio, in that case you can use the Control Key in MacOSX (I think this will be the same in a Windows if not try Alt) to turn off the auto-snapping of elements.

Also in Jaspersoft studio instead of drag & drop elements from the palette you can select the element and then "draw" the size and position you want in the report.

Thank you for your timely response. I am using Jaspersoft Ireport Designer 5.6.0 on Windows 7. I could not get Ctrl or Alt to work as suggested. It's not a big deal to go to Tools/Options and check "Turn off magnetic attraction" - I was just hoping there was a shortcut.
