When I click the Check for Updates menu option it tells me 6.0.3 is available but I have "Insufficient access privileges to apply this update." Why? It could depend on where you have installed JSS and with which user account you are running it.By the way, which operating system are you using? lori.stopka Posted February 24, 2015 Author Share Posted February 24, 2015 I agree that it is a permissions issue. I am running windows 7 and have full admin rights on my PC. I gave up trying to "update" JSS and just installed 6.0.3 on its own and then uninstalled 5.5.0. A co-worker still as 5.5.0 and as you suggested, he ran JSS "As Administrator" and the update could then be applied. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
