Cannot Update Studio to 6.0.3?

I have version 5.5.0 of Jaspersoft Studio.  When I click the Check for Updates menu option it tells me 6.0.3 is available but I have "Insufficient access privileges to apply this update." 

Why?

Hi,
it appears a permessions related issue. It could depend on where you have installed JSS and with which user account you are running it.
By the way, which operating system are you using? It's very hard to guess.

That said try to run it using administration privilege.

I agree that it is a permissions issue. I am running windows 7 and have full admin rights on my PC. I gave up trying to "update" JSS and just installed 6.0.3 on its own and then uninstalled 5.5.0. A co-worker still as 5.5.0 and as you suggested, he ran JSS "As Administrator" and the update could then be applied.
