dgolby
new user - have set the default value for a parameter in iReports - works properly when viewing the report on JasperServer, but when moved to a Dashboard I get this error about a misssing default value for a mandatory parameter - how can this be addressed? Giulio Toffoli
You are not passing a value to a mandatory input control for the report unit you are adding to the dashboard, it is not about the jrxml, it is about the fact that you set a specific input control as mandatory. dgolby
we set an input control in JasperServer to a common input control (Year) - as a result the report opens fine with the default set as designed - it is only when we try to move that report onto a dashboard that we get the error, even when we move the corresponding single select input control to the dashboard - so I'm not sure where I should have been setting the value or how to pass it to the mandatory input control - what am I missing??? dgolby
after some deliberation; we found that dashboards worked when we unchecked both the iReport and the JasperServer "prompt"hope this helps!
minaeimi
I had exactly the same issue spend around one hour to figure out how it works. I unchecked parameter 'Prompet' option in iReport, defined the default value. But still the default values didn't set in dashboard. To make it work, I deleted the single report controls from the dashboard and add them again, this time works perfectly and default values are shown.
