  1. HI, Yes, it is possible. Look at adhoc-report feature of Jasperserver. Regards, Mina
  2. Hi, If I undrestand you correctly, you can define a job scheduler to send specific email at certain time to your email address. You can google for it and will find lots of documents. eg http://community.jaspersoft.com/wiki/configuring-report-scheduler Regards, Mina
  3. Hi Dane, What do you exactly mean by %$P!{PED_S}%. I mean by %? Try wrap your query with parantesis like (condition) ? (exp1) : (exp2). Suggestion: This stement is really very messy, and difficult to undrestand. Try to do abit clean up. To me it look like only the where clauses are different. so you can define your sql query like this select <columns> from <tablename> where P{where_clause} Hope it helps.
  4. Hi Kinjal, As far as I know, It shouldn't be contain wildcards or special character. You may try and encode that character. Search for URL-scape code and you will find its encoding. Best, Mina
  5. I had exactly the same issue spend around one hour to figure out how it works. I unchecked parameter 'Prompet' option in iReport, defined the default value. But still the default values didn't set in dashboard. To make it work, I deleted the single report controls from the dashboard and add them again, this time works perfectly and default values are shown.
  6. We are trying to set default timezone on the jasperserver. The timezone for the host computer I installed jasperserver was Europe/Berline, then the dafualt timezone for the jasperserver was Europe/Berlin as well. Now, I want to set the default timezone to Europe/London. I changed the host computer timezone to Europe/London, but it didn't applied to jasperserver this time. Then I set the timezone on <apache-tomcat>binsetenv.bat file to set JAVA_OPTS=%JAVA_OPTS% -Duser.timezone=Europe/London. I restarted the server, I even restarted the windows-server, but changes arenot applied yet. When I am checking the timezone in login page it is still Europ/Berlin and when I am creating job scheduler, the default timezone is Europe/Berlin. I suppose when I set the timezone at jvm level, it applies to all the clients regardless of what is their client-timezone. we are using jasperserver 5.5 and the host server is windows server 8.
  7. I need a query to get list of recently viewed reports of loggined users. Exactly the same as the widget now is showin in japserserver 5.5 home page. I spent lots of time to find the solution for it but so far no success. Any suggestion?
  8. Could you solve this issue? We used to show dashboard as frame inside our application by setting this parameter viewAsDashboardFrame= true, and it was working fine for a long time. yesterday after we upgrade from jasperserver 5.0 to 5.5 it 's not working any more. We have commercial license for jasperserver.
  9. Hi, Is there any suggestion if I want to do something similar to your case but inside iframe: I have a html page with 2 iframes. The first iframe contains my report which is a crosstab report. What I need is when I am clicking on each item of crosstab, the details show in second iframe. I almost tried all the possibility of hyperlink target and hyperlink type in ireport. but It wasnot successful my report always open in the first iframe itself. I even tried custome target type, but adding on link parameters hyperlinkTarget='myframe'. Thanks

  11. I made a dashboard which contains 6 different reports (all are crosstab), the reports are run so fast seperately, but when they all in dashboard it takes lots of time to run. I changed the pool size in applicationcontext. I changed the virtual memorty. But the performance doesnot improved at all. Is there any other suggestions to improve it? Thanks in advanced. PS: I am using jasperver 5
