Displaying SUBTOTAL of field one per page

Dear forum members,

I have a report with one group and want to display the subtotal of the PRICE_TOTAL field at the end of each page.

I tried to build a variable for this and it seems to do the SUM operation fine, but the footer of the group is only displayed at the last page, so the SUM is the TOTAL ;-)

Is there a tutorial or sample file how to achive this?

Put it on the column footer or page footer.

If you want to show the total of the values in the page:

variable: reset type -> page
textfield showing the variable: evaluation time -> page

If you want to show the partial grand total, change the reset type to group or report.

Hullo Giulio,

Your solution above gives me this error message "Variable 'grpSumLpoAmt' of dataset 'BudgetPerformance' cannot have Column or Page reset type." What should I do to get this trick/tip working?
