detect last page

hi, how can i detect last page on the report?
i searched forum and i found something about scriptlet hacks, but i would like some example
or perhaps i can achievied this in another way? maybe easier?

my goal is to hide in last page a line (which is exacly in a column footer section)
unfortunately last page footer isnt suitable for me
any ideas?

well, this line in a column footer section is the bottom line of my table (which table is on a few pages)
so, page footer section doesnt resolve my problem i think, or perhaps i misunderstand you, may you explain your suggestion?

this is an example of my table

my table in page1

| record1 |
| record2 |
| record3 |
| record4 |
| record5 |
| record6 |
----------------    <---- line in column footer section (of course i mark float column footer option)
 

my table in page2

| record7 |
| record8 |
| record9 |
----------------     <---- line in column footer section
 

my table in page3

| record10 |
| record11 |
| record12 |
| record13 |
------------------   <---- line in column footer section - how to hide this line on the last page?
 

etc.

i've no ideas, please tell me about some solutions

I did as your link but the lastPage return null within expression. It only have the right value when display on a text field with option report of evaluated time.

 

I did wrong something somewhere?
