Display barcodes on certain pages

Hi

 

I need to display a barcode in the footer of my report only on the last page of a group, before the page resets.

 

Any Ideas welcome.

Hi Robert_Pryde,

 

there is no way to predict the future in JasperReports... so it's not possible identify the "Last page footer of the group".

 

A common workaround is to elaborate the result set by yourself to add special informations to each record (i.e. adding a flag that informs you which is the last record of the current group) and pass the new dataset to JasperReports to finally fill the report.

Now that we have Last Page Footer does this help in identifying the last page? I don't want the column footer to print on the last page.

You can add a contional expression for the Print When Expression Part of Group Footer Band Properties as like, " new Boolean(($F{flg}.indexOf("1") > 0 ) ? true : false ) ". Then the last Grop Footer will not print. Shibin

When you say group footer do you mean column footer? I see lots of posts about group header and footer, but don't see anything with that name on my screen.
