Migrating from IReport 1.2.1 to 1.2.5

Would like to ask abt the following:

 

1) How easy is it to do so?

2) What are the steps involved?

3) Is version 1.2.5 stable? Or it advisable to migrate to 1.2.4 instead?

Hi,

 

there are no particular issues migrating to 1.2.5. The only one is related to charts and crosstabs (you can find more about that here:

iReport is getting each version more stable, or at least this is our aim... iReport 1.2.5 should be more stable than 1.2.1.

You can use more than one version of iReport at the same Time, so migratng should be easy. In earlier Versions the were Problems with forward-compatibility (i.e. you can use crosstabs in newer Versions, if you open these Reports with a older Version of iReport like 0.5.2, the Code for the Crosstab will be deleted).
